Going into the next nine months, you and I must not let the American people forget the disastrous reality of ObamaCare.

Widespread canceled coverage.

Massive premium hikes for lower quality coverage.

Employers laying off hundreds of employees, or moving full-time employees to part-time work to escape the heavy burden of ObamaCare.

The Obama Administration knows how politically toxic ObamaCare has become.

That’s why they’ve been trying to bury it with the constant rule changes and delays until after the November elections, in an attempt to give his vulnerable tax-and-spend cronies in Congress some cover.

In fact, even prominent apologists for the president are reaching their breaking point.

Inspired by the endless exemptions Barack Obama keeps conjuring up, the National Journal’s Ron Fournier recently wrote a column titled, “Why I’m Getting Sick of Defending Obamacare.”

And even Kirsten Powers, another prominent pro-Obama apologist, reacted with an “amen, brother.”

Obama’s latest unilateral decree is a two-year delay on imposing the employer mandate on businesses that employ between 50 and 99 people.

This employer mandate will, of course, create a financial incentive for employers to fire current workers and decide against hiring new ones, so they can stay below 99 employees — but conveniently for Democratic Senators running this fall, not until after the elections.

In fact, even Fournier recognizes the game that Obama is playing.

“Not coincidentally,” he writes, “the delays punt implementation beyond congressional elections in November.”

The fact is, Obama knows that despite the cancellations and job loss we’ve suffered so far, America hasn’t seen anything yet.

The full implementation of all ObamaCare’s expensive, job-killing mandates will be an even bigger disaster, so he wants to delay it until after the coming election, to try and protect his buddies that voted for it.

Obama fears that invoking the anger of concerned taxpayers like you will ensure that ObamaCare’s supporters feel the heat, especially during this election cycle.

That is why between now and November, you and I must do everything possible to keep ObamaCare fresh in the minds of voters, and remember the tax-and-spend members of Congress who voted for it in the first place.
