The power of your voice has been heard!
Over recent days, you and other National League of Taxpayers members have been weighing in on IR-2013-92, the Obama Administration’s most brazen attempt yet to silence his critics through the power of the IRS.
IR-2013-92 would forbid groups like NLT from informing their members about politicians’ tax-and-spend stances in the days before an election — when politicians are most concerned about keeping their jobs.
The ability for citizens to influence their elected representatives when they have to listen closest is a key tenet of the democratic process.
Thankfully, you and other National League of Taxpayers members responded with more than 32,000 signatures, sending an unmistakable message to the IRS bureaucrats:
Don’t touch free speech.
The voice of the people, if loud enough, can be the deciding factor in battles like this, and your voice has greatly strengthened whatever steps we may need to take next against this power grab.
If Obama’s IRS decides to ignore you and other concerned taxpayers, rest assured that your NLT will waste no time in filing a lawsuit.
